Day 3 - Sushi!

On our way back to Bellagio, we cut through New York New York, and Mom added "eat a New York pretzel" on our list of things to do.

We got stuck behind some slow guys wearing Hooters signs on their back. We got around them, then Dad went to buy something from Walgreens, and they got back in front of us. So we passed them again. And Dad just had to go check Tix 4 Tonight (obsession!). So we had to pass them a third time. Rachel was going to ask them if they got paid by the hour, but they looked like creepers.

Dad's brother told him that there was a really good sushi restaurant at Caeser's (the name escapes me), so I looked it up in the directory and called to get reservations if necessary. And just our luck, the restaurant had closed for renovation that week. But the girl on the phone was very nice and recommended Ichiban at Bally's that didn't require a reservation.

So we got dolled up and headed to Bally's for sushi.

We were seated immediately. It wasn't very crowded. It also wasn't nearly as upscale as the sushi restaurant in our resort (Yellowtail), but the prices were a whole lot nicer. We decided to each pick out a type of sushi roll. I picked Las Vegas Roll (spicy salmon), Rachel picked California Roll, Mom picked Philadelphia Roll, and Dad picked Yellowtail Roll. We had to fill out our own order. When our waitress came back to get it, she commented on the amount. We weren't certain how much we'd ordered, so she suggested we take off a type. We eliminated the California Roll. Rachel ordered a salad.

Our food was delivered, and we were glad we didn't get any more. Mine was the best. Dad's wasn't very good... kind of bland tasting. We should've eliminated his. Mom was the safe one, and she only ate that and tasted the Las Vegas roll.

The bill was only $30 - as much as breakfast and lunch! Very good deal.

On the way back to our resort, we stopped at a cute, kind of raunchy gift shop. They had adorable onesies:

On our way back to Bellagio, we caught a fountain show.
