It is a common trend of the Disney Cruising community to personalize the stateroom door with decorations.  The ideas is that it is not only festive, but it helps children (and adults) find their room.  Due to the popularity of door decorations, Disney now enforces that door decorations may only be magnetic - no adhesives or hanging devices of any kind, or you're subjected to a charge for paint repair.
