We don't have many family members to send graduation invitations to.  In fact, no friends or relatives came to see me graduate from high school, and we aren't expecting any guests for Rachel (nor are we really prepared to house guests, since we are rushing straight from graduation to Disney World).  So instead of sending out graduation invitations, Rachel decided that she'd rather send out graduation announcements.

This, of course, was my job.

So this afternoon, before her Baccalaureate, we went outside and took cap and gown photos.

Rachel's boyfriend, Alec, was there to keep her smiling.

I tried to convince him to wear the crown while she wore the ears, but that wasn't manly enough for him.
