Road Trip!

I'm blogging to you on the way to my grandparents' house in Brookhaven, Mississippi. They've lived in Brookhaven a little over a year, now - they relocated from their home in Jackson, Mississippi to be closer to my uncle and his family.

We drive through Atlanta a few hours ago. I've always had an odd fascination with Atlanta. When I was a child, I told my parents that I wanted to live underneath a bridge on Atlanta. Needless to say, that had them a little worried about my ambitions.

Really, it was just one of the most interesting places we drove by on the way to my grandparents' house. It provided at least ten, often more, minutes of visual entertainment. My parents always complained about Atlanta traffic, but if we were going to be stuck in traffic somewhere, I'd prefer it be Atlanta.

Traffic is bad now. We were in standstill traffic for a while. But it was in a pretty cool location - outside of Talladega Superspeedway. Which allowed me to pop out of the sunroof to take a picture.

The hold-up? A truck on its side - eek! It was just a lone truck... Could've been there a while. I hope everyone was okay!
