The Carnival Sunshine was also in port that morning.

I did, of course, grab a few photos of the recently expanded port from the ship.

The beach you can see here is the British Colonial Nassau, which sells day passes on Resort for a Day. I've never been here, so I can't speak to the experience, but from the ship it looked like someplace to check out if you wanted to get off the ship, but didn't want to venture to Atlantis or Paradise Cove.

We got ready to spend the day by the pool - in Disney pool fits, of course.

My one critique is that there are so many salsas to try, but no chips to be found! Chips and salsa would be such a great and easy poolside snack.

There is no shortage of hot sauce, either! We appreciated the variety.

Also there was no shade! It would be nice if they could bring out umbrellas or extend a shade canopy when docked in port because the sun was unbearable, making all of the tables in the sun unusable.

Landon loved the edible straws that came with the drinks - so much that he would ask for extra straws just to eat. There are different flavors which is interesting, but I preferred the neutral straw so it didn't change the taste of the drink.

Aaron, Stove, Judy, and I went to the Walt Disney Theatre to see The Little Mermaid which is a unique, original production that was developed for the Disney Wish. The underwater visual effects are impressive, and the projections fill the entire theater. Unfortunately, they had technical issues during the storm scene, and we had to wait about 20 minutes for the show to resume. I was worried that we were going to miss the deck party upstairs.

Just Landon and the kids -

This is the exact same show that is on the other Disney Cruise ships. It's geared more to kids. It's a cute show, but maybe not worth staking out a spot in the heat for.

This is a great spot to get a cocktail and watch the sunset.

Our dinner tonight was in 1923. We were seated in the Walt Disney side of the dining room.

We felt like 1923 had the best menu of the three rotational dining rooms.

Not my drink, but it came with a chocolate topper -

Rachel and Aaron both had the Alameda Porcini Spiced Ahi Tuna. Aaron was surprised that it was real wasabi, not green horseradish.

And Roasted Roma Tomato Soup was a solid choice -

Aaron thought that the Fennel, Bartlett Pear and Tatsoi Salad was 'mid' -

Aaron gave the Italian Flat Parsley and Rosemary-crusted Rack of Lamb a 6.5 out of 10. It was cooked and seasoned perfectly, but he found the flavor to be sub-par.

After dinner, we went back up to the pool deck for the Pirates Rockin' Parlay Party. This is the fireworks show for the Disney Wish and is different than the show featuring Jack Sparrow on the other Disney Cruise ships. Unfortunately, we didn't get up in time to get a good spot for the show.... it's really hard to do with the second seating.

After the show, we went downstairs to Nightingale's which has bubble-based cocktails

And Aaron had the Dreams Come True "Air Bubbles" -

She's part of the trio that performs in Arendelle.

There was a group of teens/young adults upstairs egging us on to perform for them.

We did not take to the stage, but this other guy downstairs ran up to the stage to do a headstand, then fell.

We moved on and I took advantage of the sleepy ship to take some photos...

Then we decided to call it a night!
