Las Vegas Spring Break [Day 7] - Bellagio Breakfast Buffet
While Rachel and I were trying to get ourselves out of our comfy bed, Dad came upstairs (probably from a trip to Tix 4 Tonight) all excited about the breakfast buffet. “It’s not that much more expensive than the Circus Circus buffet!” Apparently they had let him take a look around inside and he really wanted some food. Great…
Now, I didn’t really want to do another buffet (I don’t care for buffets at all), but I went along with the family. We waited in line for forty five minutes before getting to the cash register. By the time we could pay, it was now time for the lunch price. They still had the breakfast food out, though… so we paid an extra five dollars per person to eat breakfast food.
The interior of Bellagio’s buffet was much nicer (surprise, surprise). There was no long buffet line – it was more of the walk-up kind you find on cruise ships and at WDW buffets (I much prefer this – I hate waiting on someone to take their time getting everything when all I want is a biscuit). I wandered around. I ate about the same as last time. When they put out the sushi bar for lunch, I went up to fight the old ladies in their Cache capri outfits for some California rolls. I mainly ate dessert, though. I didn’t find anything absolutely outstanding. Once again, I’m really not a food person.
We snuck some apples out. They weren’t monitoring the exit, and we had paid enough, so it really wasn’t a big deal.

Las Vegas Spring Break [Day 6] - Bellagio Pool
We needed another relaxation day, so we slept in and spent the day at the pool. Rachel and I found four chairs by a side pool, but by noon, they were in the shade. We relocated three times before finding chairs (that had once been in the shade) by the main pool. We tried to get in the pool, but it was absolutely freezing, so we just sat in the hot tub (which was the temperature the pool should have been).

Las Vegas Spring Break [Day 2] - Dinner?
Now, we still hadn't eaten dinner. I wasn't really hungry, but Dad led us to Cafe Bellagio. We had to wait in a line to be seated, and my feet were KILLING ME!!! My cute new pink heels from Cinderella of Boston (little shoes for women!) weren't very comfortable. We were finally seated, and some lady ran by our table (exaggerating... she said while walking swiftly) and muttered something along the lines of "I'll be with you in a minute." Well.... we sat their for fifteen minutes and she still hadn't been with us.
In the meantime, we had the opportunity to read the menu and realize how incredibly overpriced everything was. A bowl of cereal... for $7! For $7, you could buy a gallon of milk and a box of cereal... and even a bowl and spoon! Who in their right mind would spend $7 on Captain Crunch?
Tired of sitting there and frustrated with the waitress we hadn't even spoken to, we walked out.
The John Philippe Patisserie was on the way to our room, and I suggested we just eat crepes for dinner. I got a chocolate crepe. And Dad and Rachel got something fruity. Mom just picked off ours. They were very yummy - much better than Carolina Crepes!
Once again, we went back to the room exhausted.

Las Vegas Spring Break [Day 2] - Bellagio Pool
I did not want to get out of bed the next day. It was soooooooo comfy!!!
We finally got up around 10:30. Dad had to go pick up our Fall Out Boy concert tickets from across the street (looking out our window.... quite a [dangerous] hike, actually), so he brought us breakfast - a yogurt bowl and three pastries from Jean-Philippe Patisserie... that totalled around $30!
Rachel and I put on swimsuits and lathered on some sunscreen then headed to the pool. We were staying in the Spa Tower and used the guest elevators, so we did not have to get carded because the only way we could have been down there was if we were guests because they card at the elevators. We were each handed two white towels. They were long and rather plush. However, one of my towels had brown stains on it... probably from Coke or coffee or maybe tanning lotion. Compared to the pool at the Mirage, Bellagio's pool wasn't crowded at all (this might've had something to do with the slightly cooler temperature). Still, guests were tossing single towels in chairs so that they could save them for later. We found two chairs by the main pool and laid out. There was an empty chair with a white towel in it beside me (no one ever came to sit in that chair). Mom and Dad joined us an hour or so later.
We tried to swim, but the pool water was FREEZING. The hot tub was more comfortable, though not exactly hot. It was the temperature the main pool should have been.

Weird face I am making. Rachel looks cute, as always. I'm about to delete this from Facebook (note to self: look at pictures before uploading! xD)

Around 2:30, we got a late lunch/early dinner from Cafe Gelato. I got the seafood wrap that I shared with Rachel, and Dad got a hot sandwich of some sort. And we got two diet cokes. The bill totalled $30. The fountain drinks cost $3.75 a piece!
We then went back to the room to shower and get ready for the concert. Rachel burned. She hadn't put sunscreen on her legs, and they were bright red! My legs were a little pink, but apparently I hadn't rubbed my sunscreen all the way to my hairline because I had a strip of red on my forehead!
Rachel wore white shirts with a halter/tube top (it's a tube top with this other fabric acting like a halter. Weird. And I wore a black knit dress over a pink cami. We both had killer shoes. I wish they were visible in this picture.

Las Vegas Spring Break [Day 1] - Now what?
Dad called and booked Jay Leno for us. The show wasn't until 10:00pm. Mom and Dad took a nap, so Rachel and I unpacked. After about ten minutes, we decided to go watch the Fountains of Bellagio.

And missed them. It wasn't the half hour, yet, but when we walked up, they were already going off. So, we decided to check out the pool. But the guest elevators wouldn't go down. The elevator attendant explained that they close the pool at six. We asked if there was any way we could look at it. He told us how to get to the grand patio. We also asked him about the fountains, and he informed us that when they have a wedding, they'll often run the fountains back-to-back so that they can get pictures of the bride and groom in front of the fountain.

Chocolate!

We decided to (try to) check out the Bellagio Conservatory, which draws a crowd.

Then headed back out to watch the fountains.
